You'll work alongside talented people from diverse backgrounds, tackling complex challenges across the Public and Defence & Infrastructure sectors, and going as deep as it takes to make a real impact for our clients.  As a Consultant, you'll build the fundamentals of consulting and the Newton methodology – working hand-in-hand with clients to analyse data, identify opportunities, and support the delivery of workstreams under the guidance of more senior team members.  The role  The role is incredibly varied but would typically cover, but not be limited to:  Working within a small team of consultants, analysing data and mapping processes to identify opportunities for operational improvement  Supporting the design and delivery of a workstream, under the guidance of senior colleagues, ensuring alignment to client outcomes and programme goals  Working on site in different Australia locations, day to day with client counterparts to review progress, problem-solve and support performance improvement, while building lasting client capability.  Supporting the creation of clear, compelling and data-driven stories for stakeholders - from frontline managers through to team leads - and helping remove blockers to progress  Supporting delivery and resourcing plans in collaboration with senior team members to keep workstreams on track  Identifying opportunities for future work within your client area    Requirements Experience in consulting or an adjacent industry  First Class Honours or equivalent, such as a GPA of 6.0/7.0 or WAM of 80+,or equivalent demonstrated capability/experience   Analytical and problem-solving capability, with an appetite to get stuck into complex challenges and deliver above expectation  Drive and resilience, with the ambition to pursue excellence and develop rapidly  Curiosity, with a genuine interest in new ideas and possibilities  Empathy and self-awareness, with the ability to give and receive feedback with care and consideration  Strong people skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and present them in a compelling way  Agility and adaptability, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment  Flexible and willing to work away from home, including international assignments where required  Based in Sydney with flexibility to travel to client sites  Benefits Supporting you starts from day one.
