About BlaBlaCar BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel app enabling 27 million members a year to carpool or travel by bus in 21 countries. Our team of 800 employees counts over 50 nationalities and is spread across our 5 global offices, 30% working fully remotely. We are looking for a confirmed Backend Engineer to join the Carpool Supply team at BlaBlaCar. As part of the Carpool pillar your mission will be to "Grow long-distance carpool usage worldwide, while developing its revenues." The Carpool Supply team manages the very heart of our product: the global carpool inventory. We build and operate the backend engine that handles millions of trips published, searched, and booked across our 22 countries. This is the core of how BlaBlaCar works.  Your role will be to contribute to facilitating the publication and management of drivers inventory, fostering carpool matching by providing a reliable access to the carpool supply and leveraging geographical intelligence for our backend teams. You will work within a multi-stack team of 6 backend & 3 frontend engineers. You will collaborate closely with the team's Product Manager and Product Designer to shape and implement features, and with our main consumers in the Demand squads to ensure seamless integration.
