Description
Monitor multiple communication channels including radios, phones, and surveillance systems to maintain situational awareness Monitor officer activity, respond to any officer report, monitor tours, check points, and incident reports Receive, document, and dispatch incidents, service calls, and emergency notifications promptly and accurately Coordinate with field officers, emergency responders, and management to relay critical information Maintain detailed records of communications and incident reports in the system Utilize computerized dispatch and surveillance software effectively Respond to alarms and coordinate emergency response protocols Conduct routine checks of communication equipment and report malfunctions Provide exceptional customer service via telephone and radio communications Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in dispatch, communications, or security operations preferred Proficient computer and multi-tasking skills Strong verbal communication and active listening skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or emergency situations Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Availability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
