Those filling these rewarding, full-time positions will be part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and/or process control at water and wastewater facilities.   As an Operations & Maintenance Technician 1, you will be inspecting and repairing sanitary sewer mains and manholes as well as operating a variety of heavy equipment such as manhole lining equipment, high pressure cleaning equipment, excavators, track loaders, skid loaders, and backhoes.  You will also be welding, repairing water and sewer mains, assisting with responding to and resolving customer complaints and yards following installation operations.  Lastly, you will assist in locating, and inspecting new lines, and other related duties.
