Description
Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our quality assurance team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precise measurement and inspection of components. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high quality standards throughout our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure that all parts meet required specifications and tolerances. Responsibilities Develop and execute CMM programs for the inspection of mechanical components. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate measurement plans. Conduct measurements and inspections using CMM and other metrology equipment to verify conformity of parts. Analyze measurement data and prepare reports on findings for engineering and production teams. Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Train and guide team members in CMM programming and inspection techniques. Stay updated on industry advancements in metrology and quality control practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a CMM Programmer or in a quality assurance role with CMM experience. Strong knowledge of CMM programming languages and software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso). Excellent understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members. Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards is a plus.
