About You You are an engineer, first and foremost. You are intimately familiar with designing and building cloud-native infrastructure following industry best-practices, especially when it comes to security. You are keen on automation and dislike repetitive tasks. You are not satisfied and will continually iterate on something until you feel it is done the right way. You are someone that has an ownership mentality and tries to always leave something in a better state than the way they found it. You have an insatiable curiosity and always ask: Why? You thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. You are a strong communicator, explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you. You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval. About the Role Our mission is to provide innovative access to financial products that help RIAs secure their clients’ financial futures and the Flourish Engineers play a key role in doing just that. You will be at the forefront of high-impact, mission-critical projects that will enable us to sail into the next chapters of our cloud-native journey. Working with other engineers, you will bring ideas from the whiteboard to reality, providing input to key architectural decisions. You will be responsible for designing and building infrastructure as code following industry best-practices, especially when it comes to security. You will engineer self-service and automated solutions to enable application development teams to constantly move faster while ensuring compliance with security standards and requirements. You have working knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies, and are excited to work throughout the tech-stack to deliver a delightful experience for customers and coworkers.
