JOB SUMMARY:
As a Cloud Engineer I (CEI) / Cloud Engineer II (CEII) you will provide engineering and transformation expertise to migrate and modernize the environment. Deploying architectures to support Working with a team to plan, assess requirements, design, and develop optimal and secure cloud-based solutions. Engineer must have exceptional problem-solving skills and have a greater understanding of the code base to identify and solve issues before an issue becomes systematic. All engineers on the team are key contributors to the overall program success providing vital services to our government customers. Engineers are expected to stay current with best practices, industry standards and advance current and existing certifications to obtain necessary approval for operating within the environment.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Design, provision and deploy AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch and related services) following industry best practices and organization
Execute cloud migrations with minimal downtime, ensuring data integrity and application continuity across
Implement Zero Trust architecture principles throughout infrastructure and systems to ensure security
Configure and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, active directory integration for role-based access
Produce internal and customer facing documentation for the configuration and use of deployed
