For more information, see  www.phasorengineering.ca     Phasor Engineering is currently seeking a Field Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group. This is a field work on rotation of 20/8 days. Reporting to the Civil Field Services Manager, this position will be responsible for leading and executing foundation projects with the following duties and responsibilities.   Accommodation for Disabilities: Phasor Engineering is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible workplace. Employees requiring accommodation are encouraged to notify Human Resources so that appropriate arrangements can be made. #phasorinclusive   Role Requirements:     Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution   Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada   2–5+ years of relevant field experience in civil construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects (experience in transmission, substations, or energy projects is an asset)   Strong understanding of civil construction practices, including earthworks, foundations, grading, drainage, and access road construction   Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents   Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and apply findings in the field   Familiarity with quality control/quality assurance (QA/QC) processes and documentation   Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams   Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced field environment   Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal   Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is considered an asset   Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and work in remote or outdoor environments under varying weather conditions   Phasor Engineering is an equal opportunity employer.  AI is not used to screen or assess candidates.  The role posted is for an active vacancy we have in Phasor but applications may also be used for future positions.   Salary variations depend on factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and current market conditions specific to the role.  Requirements Qualifications:     Civil or Structural Engineering Tech / EIT   5-10 years’ experience in civil earthworks soil testing   Willing to spend 90% of the time in the field   Field Soil Testing experience   Project Coordinator experience   Safety tickets: Lab Compaction (SPMD/SPDD)  Field compaction testing (Nucellar densometer)   Additional lab soil tests: Hydrometer, CBR, Shear Test  Additional Field Tests: Electrical Resistivity, corrosivity, ASTM, CSA   Experience with asphalt and aggregate   At least a class 5 license with experience towing a trailer   Benefits Benefits:     Dental care  Disability insurance  Employee assistance program  Extended health care  Life insurance  On-site gym  On-site parking  Paid time off  RRSP match
