This position will work in a team environment with other Design Engineers and under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer. The Design Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and construction phase services of a variety of projects. They will work with government agencies to obtain construction plans and permit approvals. Essential Functions Responsible for the engineering development of construction drawings, technical specifications, and reports Responsible for the project coordination between internal departments and stakeholders Responsible for agency coordination of reviews and approvals Responsible for coordinating project status updates Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET Accredited Program In process of, or ability to obtain, Engineer-in-Training certification Strong written/verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and possess an accommodating and proactive attitude Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Recommended Software AutoCAD (Land Development, Public Works, Facilities) Civil 3D (Land Development, Public Works, Facilities) Autodesk Inventor (Land Development, Public Works, Facilities) HECRAS (H&H) XPSWMM (H&H)
