Help us save lives and make a difference.  Earn More with Shift Differentials Maximize your earnings with additional hourly pay: +$2/hr -> Monday-Thursday Nights +$3/hr -> Friday-Sunday Nights +$2/hr -> Saturday-Sunday Days What You'll Do:   The Civil Commitment Case Manager coordinates all aspects of the civil commitment process for individuals in care under involuntary status. This position monitors legal status, coordinates civil commitment hearings with internal and external stakeholders, and acts as a subject matter expert for legal processes. Educates and informs individuals of  consents  for treatment and authorizations for use and disclosures.   Participates regularly in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Tracks Civil Commitment processes, including ECO and TDO petitions, civil commitment hearings, and commitment outcomes for youth and adults. Ensures compliance with Code of Virginia Title 37.2 statutes. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team to engage, monitor, and communicate with the individual, ensuring that safety is maintained while meeting the individual’s needs. Maintains the clinic record, including documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process. Obtain signatures from individuals regarding treatment, as necessary. Document all services and individuals’ activities in the electronic health record (EHR) regarding brief interventions, coordination of care, discharge planning, treatment planning, and any other pertinent information. Maintains a working knowledge of the Virginia Involuntary Commitment process. Maintains a working knowledge of the DBHDS and DMAS behavioral health system. Participates in individual and group supervision as required.  Participate in ongoing education, including in-services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve competency. Demonstrate competency through post-testing, skill observation, and performance as assessed by direct supervisor. Completes all required training, attends monthly meetings, and maintains required competencies. Performs   all   other   duties   as   assigned.
