Verification Engineer - Charging System Verification Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Verification Engineer to lead and execute verification activities for charging systems in the electromobility domain. This role requires a strong understanding of functional verification, power electronics, and system-level testing, ideally within the automotive or electromobility sectors. Key Responsibilities: Verification Planning and Execution: Develop, manage, and execute verification plans for charging systems. Prepare, perform, and analyze tests to ensure system functionality and compliance. Utilize test automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. System Understanding and Testing: Apply knowledge of mechatronic systems to understand hardware and software interactions, with a focus on charging and electrical distribution systems. Develop test methods and verify results to bridge theory and practical application. Perform verification of charging communication protocols using HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and vehicle-level testing. Continuous Improvement: Drive advancements in test methods and processes to optimize verification activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new verification practices and tools. Required Qualifications: Experience: 7–10 years of experience in verification, preferably in the electromobility or automotive sectors (trucks or charging systems are a strong plus). Hands-on expertise in functional verification, power electronics, and charging systems. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechatronic systems and their HW/SW interactions. Proven knowledge of connecting theoretical principles with real-world application. Experience in test automation and efficient testing methodologies. Familiarity with charging communication protocols and related verification processes. Skills: Excellent capability to manage, plan, prepare, execute, and analyze test activities and results. Fluency in English, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test method development and system-level verification in automotive charging systems. Background in HIL testing and vehicle-level system verification.
