Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair timber structures such as frames, flooring, roofing, and joinery. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans related to timber carpentry. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber materials with precision using appropriate tools and machinery. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes throughout the carpentry process. Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades to complete projects on schedule. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and uphold a clean and safe work environment. Identify and resolve any on-site issues related to timber carpentry work. Requirements Proven experience as a Carpenter specializing in timber work. Strong understanding of timber properties, carpentry techniques, and tools specific to timber work. Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to timber carpentry. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle timber materials and woodworking tools. Effective communication skills and ability to work productively within a team environment. Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to different job sites as needed.
