Description
The Technical Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support within the DEA UK CAMO department. At its core, this role delivers vital regulatory and technical administration to ensure continuous fleet airworthiness. The successful candidate will manage precision data entry and archiving - meticulously updating flight hours, cycles, and component changes within the DEA Airworthiness IT System. Key responsibilities include auditing physical and digital tech logs, pilot sector records, and completed work packs for absolute compliance, as well as issuing formal maintenance work packs under Part-CAMO standards. Additionally, the administrator will maintain the technical library by distributing manual updates and regulatory notices, whilst providing essential administrative support to the CAMO department and wider DEA team. Reporting directly to the DCAM, the ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy administrator who is comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and logic. Rather than just performing manual data entry, this individual will utilise everyday, off-the-shelf AI tools - such as Gemini - to help sort data, clean up log information, and flag simple maintenance patterns. This ensures the DCAM receives clean, reliable data to help optimise fleet maintenance efficiency.
