Saudi Arabia | CAD Technician Join Sener and Shape the Future of Infrastructure At Sener , we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative infrastructure projects. We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia . In this role, you will support a major 8-year PMC rail project in Riyadh , producing accurate engineering drawings and design documentation across Civil, MEP, Architecture, and infrastructure disciplines . You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality technical deliverables and supporting the successful execution of this landmark project. Key Responsibilities Prepare, develop, and revise detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CAD software in accordance with project requirements and company standards. Produce design drawings, layouts, plans, sections, details, and technical documentation for Civil, MEP, Architecture, and infrastructure projects. Coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy, consistency, and integration across all disciplines. Update drawings based on engineering comments, design reviews, and client feedback. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, specifications, and quality procedures. Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control throughout the project lifecycle. Support the preparation of design deliverables, presentations, and project documentation. Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software to support design development, spatial coordination, and engineering documentation where required. Identify drafting inconsistencies and recommend practical solutions to improve drawing quality and coordination. Support the continuous improvement of drafting standards, CAD libraries, and design workflows. Requirements Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Technician or CAD Designer. Experience supporting Civil, MEP, Architecture, or infrastructure design projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software. Experience producing detailed engineering drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and construction documentation. Strong understanding of engineering drafting standards and design documentation. Experience coordinating drawings within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Familiarity with BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit is an advantage. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Fluent in English. Preferred Qualifications Saudi Nationals are preferred. Experience working with international engineering consultancies. Experience supporting infrastructure, transportation, or building projects. Familiarity with GCC engineering standards and drafting practices. Knowledge of BIM coordination and digital engineering workflows is an advantage. Why Join Sener?
