Business Development Manager, Malmö This is a key role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business development, investment analysis and commercial execution. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational follow-up in a growing and dynamic business environment. You will play a central role in supporting the company’s continued expansion, ensuring that investments, market opportunities and commercial priorities are aligned to create long-term business value. The position is based in Malmö. About the Role This is not a traditional sales role, nor a pure project management position. It is a broad, commercially focused business development role with significant responsibility across strategy, investment logic, execution, and market development. You will work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, helping to align investment priorities, operational execution and commercial opportunities. The role requires strong business acumen, analytical capability and the ability to create momentum in a complex stakeholder environment. Key Responsibilities As Business Development Manager, you will: Drive business-critical initiatives from opportunity assessment through execution Evaluate and prioritise growth opportunities based on demand drivers, market attractiveness and commercial value potential Build investment cases and drive them through internal decision-making processes Coordinate stakeholders involved in site development, technical delivery and commercial activation Follow up projects after approval to ensure progress against the timeline, budget and scope Proactively manage deviations, delays and cost-related risks Work closely with the commercial organisation to support customer adoption and volume ramp-up Participate in customer meetings, industry forums and selected commercial discussions Contribute to pricing discussions, business cases and commercial assumptions Monitor market developments, competitor activity and relative competitiveness Manage selected strategic partnerships linked to the company’s growth initiatives What Success Looks Like In this role, success means being able to connect strategy, investment decisions and commercial execution. You are analytical, proactive and execution-focused, with a natural ability to combine strategic thinking with operational follow-through. You likely bring experience from one or several of the following areas: Business development Infrastructure development Market expansion Strategic project execution Transport, logistics, infrastructure, mobility or adjacent industries Experience from network roll-outs, infrastructure-heavy businesses or other commercially driven expansion environments is considered highly valuable.
