Description
We are looking for a proactive, results driven Business Development Manager – E-commerce & Lead Generation with 4 to 6 years of experience to spearhead our client acquisition efforts in India. In this role, you will identify, target, and pitch high-potential brands (D2C, FMCG, Beauty, Consumer Electronics, etc.) to help them scale across India's primary e-commerce channels. You should possess deep domain expertise across traditional marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart) and the rapidly expanding Quick Commerce ecosystem (Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto), alongside a strong command of modern ad-tech tools and retail media strategies.
What will you do:
Look for potential Indian brands, D2C startups, and manufacturers, and reach out to them to build a steady list of sales leads.
Reach out directly to key leaders (like Founders, E-commerce Heads, and Marketing Directors) through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, emails, cold calls, and networking.
Check how target brands are currently performing on Amazon, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce platforms (looking at listing quality, ad setup, Buy Box status, and search rankings).
Prepare and deliver clear pitch presentations showing brands how better ads, listing fixes, and quick commerce strategies will help increase their sales and ad profits.
Use basic knowledge of e-commerce ad software (like Helium 10, Perpetua, or Pacvue) to show prospective clients how automated ad tools can improve their campaigns.
Keep up with the latest Indian e-commerce trends, platform rule updates, and big shopping events (like Big Billion Days and Great Indian Festival) to give smart advice.
Handle the full sales process, from the first call and proposal writing to price negotiations and getting the contract signed to meet monthly targets.\
Work closely with the internal operations and account management teams to easily hand over new clients and set up a smooth working relationship.
Who are you:
4 to 6 years in B2B sales, client acquisition, or business development specifically within the Indian e-commerce, agency, or ad-tech space.
Solid, working understanding of Amazon (Seller & Vendor Central), Flipkart, and Quick Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart).
Comfortable discussing PPC campaigns, sponsored ads, programmatic retail media, keyword analytics, and ad management automation tools.
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho), and cold outreach platforms.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, strong negotiation ability, and a data-driven approach to sales audits.
Prior network of decision-makers in Indian D2C, FMCG, or consumer brand sectors.
Basic understanding of supply chain logistics, dark store fulfillment models, or inventory forecasting for e-commerce.
Why You'll Love It:
Competitive salary

Creative office environment
Work in a professional and dynamic environment
Good chance to explore new trends in the digital market
Working Hours (10 am - 6:30 pm) Monday - Friday
