In this early-stage environment, you’ll wear many hats – business development, marketing, sales, partnerships – and help guide the company through the critical phase of product-market fit discovery, go-to-market execution, and early customer adoption.  You’ll be the bridge between our internal teams and the external market, working closely with our scientific, engineering, operations, and executive teams to identify and grow high-value opportunities across multiple industries.  Under the broad direction of the Head of Business Development your key responsibilities are:  Market discovery and strategic insights  Conduct targeted market research and environmental scanning to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and priority segments.  Support the mapping of market segments, customer landscapes, and stakeholder ecosystems to identify and prioritise high-potential opportunities.  Contribute to pricing, positioning, and market-entry strategies through structured analysis and on-the-ground insights.  Synthesize customer feedback, market intelligence, and internal learnings to inform business development priorities and planning.  Customer engagement and commercial validation  Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand operational challenges, validate use cases, and test value propositions.  Build and progress a pipeline of qualified opportunities, including pilots and early-stage projects to demonstrate capability and gather feedback.  Develop tailored proposals and commercial approaches aligned to customer needs and project context.  Collaborate with technical and product teams to translate customer requirements into clear inputs for development and delivery.  Capture and communicate field insights to continuously refine m
