Business Applications Developer (Power BI, Power Automate & Microsoft 365) – Remote | EST Hours Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: EST-Aligned Business Hours About the Role At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Business Applications Developer to design and build scalable automation systems, dashboards, integrations, and internal business applications using the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on: Power BI development Power Automate workflows Power Apps Azure integrations Microsoft Teams automation Business process optimization You’ll work closely with operational and technical stakeholders to improve efficiency, visibility, reporting, and workflow automation across the organization. This is not a support-only role. You’ll actively build systems that: Eliminate manual work Improve reporting accuracy Automate business operations Connect platforms and workflows Increase operational scalability If you enjoy automation, analytics, integrations, and systems development, this role is a strong fit. What You’ll Own Power BI & Business Intelligence Design and develop: Power BI dashboards Operational reports Executive reporting systems KPI tracking dashboards Build scalable data models using: DAX Power Query Power BI best practices Create reporting systems across: Operations Finance HR Leadership Optimize: Dashboard performance Refresh reliability Report usability Implement secure reporting practices including: Row-level security Governance standards Power Automate & Workflow Automation Build advanced automation workflows using: Power Automate Microsoft 365 tools Custom connectors Develop: Approval workflows Notification systems Operational automations Process triggers Automate repetitive workflows to reduce manual operational work Improve business process speed, consistency, and accuracy Power Apps & Internal Tools Develop: Canvas Apps Model-Driven Apps Build scalable internal applications for operational teams Implement Dataverse-based business solutions Improve usability, workflow efficiency, and operational visibility Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of applications Azure Integrations & API Development Build and maintain Azure-based integrations and automations Develop: Azure Functions REST API integrations Webhook automations Cloud workflows Connect Microsoft systems with third-party applications Ensure integrations remain: Secure Scalable Reliable Microsoft Teams & Collaboration Automation Build Microsoft Teams integrations and operational workflows Develop: Notification bots Adaptive cards Approval workflows Messaging automations Improve internal communication and operational coordination through automation Documentation, Governance & Optimization Maintain documentation for: Workflows Dashboards Integrations Automation logic Application architecture Monitor system reliability and troubleshoot issues proactively Improve scalability, maintainability, and governance standards Implement best practices for long-term operational stability What Success Looks Like Manual operational work is significantly reduced Dashboards provide accurate and actionable business insights Automations run reliably with minimal downtime Internal applications improve operational efficiency Stakeholders actively adopt and rely on reporting systems Documentation and systems remain scalable and maintainable What Makes You a Strong Fit Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving mindset Highly analytical and technically detail-oriented Comfortable owning automation projects end-to-end Able to translate business problems into technical solutions Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Proactive in identifying process inefficiencies and optimization o
