This role dedicated to supporting the U.S. Census Bureau’s enterprise data collection and survey systems. This position is to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams. You will act as the technical requirements owner. This requires translating complex survey business logic into actionable development tasks.     Your Role:  Mojo Business Analyst - Survey onboarding requirements and engagement    Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops  Produce detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability to business objectives  Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and support analysis  Inspect and analyze JSON/API payloads to verify system integrations and data exchanges  Map current and future-state business processes and identify gaps or inefficiencies  Debug and trace end-to-end workflows to isolate root causes of system or process failures  Maintain backlog, defects, and change requests using GitHub Issues or equivalent tools  Create interface documentation, data dictionaries, and integration specifications  Coordinate UAT testing, capture results, and validate that requirements are met  Publish stakeholder communications, release notes, and requirement updates for each deployment  Requirements 5+ years’ experience performing business and systems analysis for enterprise software or data platforms  Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and troubleshooting relational datasets  Working knowledge of JSON structures for inspecting APIs, payloads, and message-based integrations  Demonstrated ability to debug and analyze end-to-end business processes across multiple systems  Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating functional and technical requirements with stakeholders  Proven experience translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows  Proficiency using GitHub Issues (or similar tools) for backlog tracking, defects, and change management  Ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs  Experience analyzing logs, reports, and system outputs to identify root causes and gaps  Strong written documentation skills for requirements, workflows, and integration specifications  Benefits 401(k) with matching and 100% Vested Health Insurance - 3 plans to select from Dental insurance Vision Insurance Health savings account Life insurance Short Term Disability Long Term Disability AD&D Paid time off Professional development assistance Training Tuition reimbursement Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Referral program Paid Legal Plan and more....
