Description
We made history, and now we are transforming the future. At Ford, braking is no longer just about stopping a vehicle—it is the foundation of regenerative braking for our cutting-edge EVs, the backbone of active safety for our advanced Driver Assist Technologies (like BlueCruise), and a critical node in our Software-Defined Vehicle architecture.
We are looking for a Brake Controls Software Application Design Engineer to act as the architect bridging our software with physical vehicle dynamics. It’s a highly visible role with a supportive leadership team where you’ll manage global suppliers, work hands-on with prototype vehicles, and see your code on the road every day.
This role is the perfect blend of systems engineering, supplier leadership, and hands-on vehicle testing. You’ll be responsible for integrating complex software packages, managing vehicle network communications, and delivering seamless Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
