This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 4000000 (ie INR 20-40 LPA) Experience: 15+ yrs Location: Hyderabad Job Type: full-time We are seeking an experienced AWS Platform Architect who combines deep cloud architecture expertise with strong hands-on software development skills. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing highly resilient, secure, and scalable cloud platforms while driving technical excellence across engineering teams. You will play a pivotal role in defining cloud architecture standards, leading platform modernization initiatives, and enabling the successful delivery of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with AWS services, cloud security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), microservices, and modern DevOps practices. Additionally, expertise in AWS Generative AI services, including Amazon Bedrock and LangGraph, is essential for designing intelligent, production-ready AI applications. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and operations teams to translate business objectives into scalable, high-performance cloud solutions while mentoring developers and establishing engineering best practices. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end AWS cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient. Develop cloud-native applications and platform services using AWS technologies, microservices, containers, and serverless architectures. Architect Generative AI solutions leveraging Amazon Bedrock, LangGraph, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and enterprise AI integrations. Build intelligent workflows incorporating embeddings, knowledge bases, tool calling, prompt management, and stateful AI interactions. Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation to automate cloud provisioning. Design and implement disaster recovery, multi-region deployments, high availability, and business continuity strategies. Establish cloud security best practices using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, PrivateLink, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Zero Trust principles. Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Git-based workflows and modern DevOps tools. Define platform observability standards through monitoring, distributed tracing, logging, metrics, and automated operational runbooks. Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cloud costs using autoscaling, caching, load testing, and AWS cost optimization strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures. Conduct architecture reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor development teams on cloud-native design principles. Drive modernization initiatives, including application migration, cloud transformation, and platform engineering best practices. Evaluate emerging AWS services and cloud technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities. What Makes You a Great Fit 8+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade AWS cloud solutions, including experience as a technical architect or engineering lead. Strong expertise in AWS architecture, cloud-native application development, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, LangGraph, Generative AI applications, RAG architectures, AI agents, and enterprise AI integrations. Expert-level programming skills in Java, Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar backend technologies. Strong experience with microservices, containers, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless computing. Deep knowledge of AWS networking, cloud security, identity management, encryption, and infrastructure resilience. Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline
