Role Overview MAS is seeking an Automation Engineer (Mid Level) to support the delivery of industrial automation and control systems across projects in energy, power systems, and industrial environments . The role combines PLC/SCADA engineering, system integration, and commissioning , with active involvement across the full project lifecycle — from design and programming to testing, deployment, and field execution . You will work on real-world, high-impact systems , contributing to reliable and efficient automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automation solutions (PLC/SCADA), including control logic, system architecture, and functional specifications. Program and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems , ensuring proper functionality, performance, and system integration. Support system integration and communication setup , including industrial networks, protocols, and interfaces with third-party systems. Participate in testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities , executing system validation, functional testing, and on-site troubleshooting. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues , ensuring system reliability during both project execution and operation. Prepare and maintain technical documentation (functional descriptions, test procedures, as-built documentation) and support project handover. Collaborate with electrical, software, and project teams , contributing to timely and high-quality project delivery. Requirements Degree in Electrical / Automation / Electronic Engineering . 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems. Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley). Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial environments. Understanding of control systems and electrical fundamentals . Exposure to commissioning or field work . Strong problem-solving skills and good command of English . Availability for travel . Will be considered a strong asset: Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC). Involvement in energy or power-related projects (e.g., substations, generation). Familiarity with IIoT / data acquisition systems .
