Position Summary: The Inventory Auditor is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory across the distribution center through disciplined cycle counts, prompt research and resolution of discrepancies, and reconciliation of physical inventory to the system of record. This role partners closely with DC and store leadership to identify and resolve inventory issues quickly, ensuring inventory integrity that supports on-time delivery, accurate financial reporting, and a strong guest experience. Job Duties: · Cycle Count Execution — Use the scanner program to perform daily cycle counts in accordance with the published inventory schedule. Submit counts on time, every day, and ensure 100% completion of the assigned count cadence. · Discrepancy Research — Research inventory discrepancies identified through cycle counts, exception reports, and operational alerts. Trace transactions, review system history, and physically verify product to determine root cause. · Exception Reconciliation — Reconcile exceptions to ensure system inventory matches physical inventory. Process adjustments accurately and within published timeframes, and document the rationale for each correction. · Locate Misplaced Merchandise — Physically locate merchandise that is not in its assigned location. Move product back to the correct bin or staging area and update the system to reflect accurate location data. · Inventory Issue Resolution — Identify inventory problems and act quickly to resolve them at the source. Escalate complex or systemic issues to the Inventory Manager and/or DC Manager with supporting research and recommended next steps. · Store Inventory Support — Travel to local stores to assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities as scheduled or requested by leadership. · Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with DC operations, Receiving, Shipping, Order Management, and store teams to investigate inventory issues, coordinate corrections, and prevent recurrence. · Additional Duties — Perform other duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager, DC Manager, or other leadership to support overall DC operations and inventory accuracy goals. Required Qualifications: · Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. · Experience: 1+ years of inventory, warehouse, or distribution center experience preferred. · Experience using handheld scanners, RF devices, and warehouse management or inventory systems. · Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive counting and data entry tasks accurately. · Solid math, research, and reconciliation skills; comfortable working with spreadsheets and inventory reports. · Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with DC associat
