O’Hagan Meyer is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least 3-6 years of experience in commercial and/or general liability litigation to join its Wilmington, DE office. Experience in mass torts, class actions and professional liability defense (skilled care facilities, hotels/motels, lawyers, architects and engineers, sports teams) is a plus. Requirements This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, representing clients in mediation, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred, as well as state and federal administrative agencies. This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effective manner. This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Admission to the state bar of Delaware is required. Admission to Ohio plus.
