What you’re responsible for
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the coordination and management of all project phases, including planning, execution, and closeout.
Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
Assisting in preparing project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and updating project documentation.
Supporting procurement efforts, including tracking materials and equipment deliveries.
Helping to manage subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Conducting site visits to aid with inspections, meetings, and quality control activities.
Helping to address any issues or changes that arise during construction, ensuring timely resolutions.
Preparing and distributing regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Aiding with the project financials, including invoice approvals and budget tracking.
