We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our nursery team at our Gosport setting. In this role, you will support our Nursery Cook and step into their position when needed. Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in a busy school or nursery kitchen Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations Understanding of food allergens and COSHH guidelines Ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive attitude, reliability, and trustworthiness Ability to manage daily tasks with a flexible approach to prioritizing workloads Good rapport with children Position Details: Part-time: Monday – Friday 10-2pm, 20hrs week, 51 weeks a year able to step in to the nursery cooks role increasing hours to 7-2.30 when covering.
