As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you play a key role in supporting the Head of Engineering in overseeing the maintenance and operational aspects of the hotel's physical infrastructure. Key Job Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive engineering and maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel's facilities. Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs, minimizing equipment downtime and extending the lifespan of systems. Support the management of the engineering department's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization. Work closely with the Head of Engineering to supervise and guide the engineering team, providing training and performance assessments. Coordinate with other departments to address their technical needs and provide assistance for various events and activities. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a secure and sustainable working environment. Assist in evaluating and recommending upgrades or improvements to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. Respond promptly to emergency situations, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions to hotel operations. Maintain accurate records of equipment, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting and auditing purposes. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, incorporating best practices into the hotel's operations. Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies. Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
