Description
·         Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions (MPI), blueprints, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs). ·         Verify and gather required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials before assembly. ·         Unpack chassis and components and prepare them for production. ·         Assemble systems and subassemblies by ensuring proper fit and securing components according to work instructions. ·         Scan component serial numbers into the manufacturing execution system (MES) for tracking and traceability. ·         Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and timely. ·         Prepare accessories, apply labels, and perform visual inspections of completed systems prior to packaging. ·         Package finished products according to BOM and shipping requirements. ·         Maintain an ESD-safe work environment and follow all safety procedures. ·         Support production schedules by following supervisor instructions and working overtime when required. ·         Assist with production floor audits, cycle counts, and inventory activities. ·         Follow 5S principles to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. ·         Support additional production and manufacturing operations as needed. ·         Contribute to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or college coursework is a plus. Previous assembly experience in the electronics, computer hardware, or manufacturing industry preferred. Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders and control documentation. Experience using hand tools and light power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and quality standards. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet production deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
