Description
Role Summary The Air Conditioning Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying all HVAC‑related works across the project site. This role ensures that air‑conditioning systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and industry standards. The inspector will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance throughout all phases of HVAC installation. Key Responsibilities Inspect HVAC installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Review technical documents, including shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Monitor site activities to verify proper installation, testing, and commissioning of air‑conditioning systems. Identify non‑conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Conduct inspections of ductwork, piping, insulation, controls, and mechanical equipment. Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project guidelines, and industry best practices. Support quality assurance processes and participate in technical meetings as required. Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC inspection for infrastructure or building projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and testing procedures. Familiarity with international standards and codes related to mechanical and HVAC works. Experience working on large‑scale or complex developments is preferred. Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
