Description
At Unanet, we're reimagining how work gets done with AI. Our business operations span complex, fast-moving functions like Go-to-Market and Human Resources, creating countless opportunities to eliminate friction, automate repetitive work, and help people focus on what matters most. As an AI Solutions Engineer, you'll design, build, deploy, and continuously improve AI agents, automations, and workflows that solve real business problems. You'll partner with AI Enablement Strategists embedded within these functions, who identify and prioritize opportunities, while you determine the best technical approach and bring solutions to life. Building is the heart of the role, but it isn't the whole of it. You'll also serve as a technical expert for Glean, our enterprise AI platform, helping troubleshoot complex issues, support fellow builders, and ensure our AI ecosystem continues to scale effectively. You'll join the AI Strategy & Operations team, reporting to Unanet’s Vice President of AI Strategy & Operations while working day-to-day alongside the business teams you support. Together, you'll deliver practical AI solutions that create measurable business impact and become part of how Unanet works every day.   What You’ll Do Build AI agents, automations, workflow tools, and prompt systems against a prioritized backlog defined in partnership with AI Enablement Strategists embedded in the business and department leadership. Each solution targets a specific, identified friction point with a clear definition of what “done” looks like. Work directly with end users throughout the build process. Involve them in design, testing, and iteration so adoption is built into the work rather than treated as a separate exercise after the fact. Own the technical approach for every solution you ship. Your Strategist partners determine what’s worth building; you determine how to build it. Stay engaged after deployment. Gather feedback from end users, track whether solutions are working as intended, and iterate based on what you learn. Build solutions with measurement in mind. Make sure what you ship can be tracked so your Strategist partners have the data they need to assess impact. Contribute every completed solution to Unanet’s shared AI solution catalog, documented so other teams can adapt it without starting from scratch. Partner with the AI Strategy & Operations function and IT when solutions require data connections, API access, or technical resources beyond what you can do alone. Participate actively in Unanet’s cross-functional builder community. You’ll be part of a group of AI builders working across the company, collectively responsible for sharing what’s working, raising the bar on how AI solutions get built, and growing the firm’s overall capability in this space. Provide post-deployment support to help end users get value from what you’ve built. This is a natural part of the role, particularly in the early stages of a solution’s rollout, though long-term support ownership will shift to other channels as solutions mature. Stay current on AI tools and techniques relevant to the functions you support. This space moves fast, and your effectiveness depends on keeping pace with it. Glean Platform Support Alongside your build work, you’ll spend a portion of your time helping Unanet’s employees get the most out of Glean, our enterprise AI platform. This is a real second responsibility, though building solutions remains the primary focus of the role. Troubleshoot non-trivial Glean issues across the company, including administrative problems, data connection failures, and agents that aren’t behaving as expected. Prioritize the AI Enablement Strategists and the agents they’re building. Their work depends on Glean running well, so they come first when issues stack up. Build a self-service support agent that employees can use to resolve common, tier-one Glea
