With our guidance, our clients can make bold, strategic decisions with confidence.  Purpose of the role  As one of the first members of our new AI & R&D team, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping our machine learning capabilities from the ground up. You’ll work at the intersection of research and engineering—rapidly developing proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes across diverse datasets and problem domains. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to explore new ideas, validate hypotheses, and transform research into production-ready solutions. This is an opportunity to influence technical direction, experiment with cutting-edge technologies, and help define best practices for a brand new, high-impact team.  Key Responsibilities Design, build, and iterate on ML PoCs, prototypes, and experimental systems across a variety of data modalities.  Collaborate with data scientists to translate research ideas and models into efficient, scalable implementations.  Partner with software engineers to integrate and deploy machine learning models into production environments.  Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and guide model development.  Evaluate model performance, perform error analysis, and continuously improve model accuracy and efficiency.  Stay up to date with the latest ML research, tools, and frameworks—and identify where they can add value.  Contribute to establishing engineering standards, experimentation workflows, and reproducibility practices.  Support the design of data pipelines, feature stores, and model monitoring solutions as the team scales.  Requirements Strong programming skills in Python, with experience writing clean, modular, and testable code.  Advanced knowledge of database technologies (SQL / NoSQL)  Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning), both theoretical and applied.  Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or XGBoost.  Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using pandas, NumPy, or similar tools.  Experience with end-to-end ML development, from data preprocessing to model deployment.  Familiarity with MLOps practices, including experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring.  Solid grasp of software engineering principles, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).  Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and an experimental mindset.  Excellent collaboration and communication skills—comfortable working cross-functionally in an agile, fast-paced environment.  Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML).  Knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, or reinforcement learning.  #LI-HYBRID    #LI-AO1 Benefits Why work for Euromonitor?
