About the Role As an AI Artist, you’ll merge artistic vision with cutting-edge AI technologies to produce exceptional film and photography content, focusing specifically on executing AI workstreams, generating unique visual assets, and enhancing traditional production workflows for top-tier advertising clients. We are looking for someone who is passionate about seeking new opportunities to create impactful work, acting as a hands-on maker who lives and breathes creative solutions and loves transitioning ideas into reality through emerging tech. Responsibilities: Generate high-quality visual content—specifically moving images and photography—by utilizing advanced AI tools and technologies. Collaborate with directors, designers, and animators to develop artistic concepts that align with brand vision and commercial objectives. Craft and iterate complex prompts and workflows to achieve precise lighting, composition, and styling suitable for film and photography standards. Integrate AI-generated assets seamlessly into traditional design, animation, and post-production workflows to create cohesive final pieces. Assist in presenting concepts and final works to clients, effectively incorporating feedback and refining AI workflows accordingly. Explore and stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI advancements to continuously inform our creative strategies. Optimize production workflows by testing and implementing new AI tools to help the team adapt to faster, more innovative ways of working. About You The essentials: 3+ years of experience in a digital production environment (such as a design studio, advertising agency, or creative studio) with a strong foundation in film, photography, or digital design. A compelling portfolio showcasing a strong blend of traditional visual creativity, technical skills, and AI-integrated film/photography work. Deep proficiency in AI tools: Figma Weave and Runway (node-based workflows) are required, alongside working knowledge of foundational image models (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Magnific/Krea). Proficiency in traditional toolstacks: Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects for film/photography integration). High tech fluency: Ability to quickly understand new tech concepts, apply critical thinking, and transition seamlessly between different AI platforms. Strong work style: Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Not a must, but a plus: Video AI experience: Familiarity with AI motion and video generation tools such as Runway, LUMA, or Comfy UI. Audio/Voice AI experience: Exposure to AI audio tools like Eleven Labs for film soundscapes or voiceovers. Strong problem-solving skills: Excellent creative problem-solving capabilities with the ability to remain stress-tolerant, quick-thinking, and accurate under tight deadlines.   At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
