WPP Production is building the next generation of AI-powered content pipelines — and this role is at the centre of it. As a Generative Pipeline / Automation Engineer , you'll bridge the gap between creative experimentation and production-grade scalability. Your mission: take generative AI workflows built in node-based platforms such as Weavy or ComfuUI and translate them into robust, automated pipelines using n8n and the broader WPP Open ecosystem.
This is a role for a creative technologist with an automation mindset . Someone equally comfortable deconstructing a node-based image generation workflow as they are designing API integrations and data pipelines. You'll work closely with APAC Innovation teams and WPP Open Production stakeholders to ensure our generative capabilities can be deployed reliably, repeatedly, and at scale for some of the world's biggest brands.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automation workflows in n8n that operationalise creative processes for scalable content production
Interpret, deconstruct, and prototype node-based generative AI workflows built in Figma Weave (Weavy), translating creative intent into automated, repeatable pipelines
Collaborate with WPP Open Production / Automation stakeholders on workspace deployments, workflow architecture, and integration strategy
Create API integrations connecting DAMs, PIMs, project management tools, and creative platforms into a cohesive production ecosystem
Build reliable data pipelines that transform, validate, and route assets and metadata between systems – Creative Force?

4+ years' experience in a creative technology, automation engineering, or technical production role — ideally within advertising, media, or content production
Strong hands-on experience with n8n or comparable workflow orchestration tools (Make, Apache Airflow, or similar)
Demonstrated understanding of node-based generative AI workflows — experience with Figma Weave (Weavy), ComfyUI, Freepik Spaces or similar visual pipeline builders.
Working knowledge of generative AI models and tooling (e.g., Stable Diffusion, Flux, Google Imagen, Runway) and how they chain together in production contexts
Proficiency in RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth , and data transformation patterns
Scripting capability in Python and/or JavaScript for custom nodes, data manipulation, and integration logic
