Description
About the Role PalUp is building an enterprise AI Agent SaaS platform to help businesses use AI and get much more done with the same team. Our customers don't just want a chatbot. They want AI Agents to become a real part of how their teams work every day. What You'll Do Every Day 1. Build and improve PalUp's core AI Agent features — starting from understanding what merchants and buyers really need, then designing it, building it, and testing it live. 2. Use AI tools (like Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to turn complex Agent logic into a working product in just a few hours. 3. Design and improve how the Agent talks, makes decisions, uses tools, and remembers things — so it really knows how to sell. 4. Look at the Agent from different angles — sometimes as the merchant, sometimes as the buyer, sometimes just asking "did this actually help the business?" 5. Keep making the Agent smarter over time, so it gets better and sells better the more it's used. Who We're Looking For 1. You've actually built or improved an AI Agent before, and you know at least one of: prompt engineering, RAG, agent design, tool use, or multi-agent systems. 2. You have a real record of getting things done. It doesn't have to be coding — maybe you grew a business, built a strong community, or made a messy process run smoothly. You're someone who can figure things out even with no instructions. 3. You care about results, not just effort. You may not write every line of code, but you can tell right away if an Agent is working well or still needs fixing. 4. You can easily switch how you look at a problem, depending on the situation. 5. You're very curious. When something an Agent does doesn't make sense, you keep digging and testing until you understand it — because you want it to be better. 6. You communicate clearly. Building an Agent means thinking clearly in words — if your instructions are unclear, the Agent will be unclear too.
