Description
Zafin is an AI platform company helping regulated institutions modernize how critical work is designed, governed, and delivered. Our technology enables organizations to move faster while maintaining the governance, accountability, and control required in highly regulated environments.
Our portfolio includes Zafin AIOS , an agent orchestration platform for governed AI work; the Zafin Banking Platform , which helps banks modernize product, pricing, offers, billing, loyalty, and relationship management; and Zafin IO , an integration platform that connects data, systems, and workflows across complex enterprise environments.
Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Zafin partners with leading financial institutions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. As AI transforms the future of financial services, we're building the platforms that help regulated organizations adopt AI responsibly and at scale. What’s the Opportunity?
As an Agent Configuration Specialist, you will configure and deliver AI agents and agent-enabled workflows on Zafin’s AI Operating System (AIOS). Working from defined business requirements and solution designs, you will translate use cases into configured agent behaviours, prompts, tools, workflow logic, guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls.
The role will work closely with Agent Engineers, Agent Architects, evaluation specialists and client-facing teams to move agent solutions from initial configuration through testing, deployment and continuous improvement. You will be accountable for the quality, reliability and maintainability of your configurations and will identify when a requirement can be delivered through platform configuration versus when additional engineering is needed.
This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys solving workflow problems, experimenting with agent behaviour and turning repeatable configuration patterns into reliable production capabilities.
What Will You Do?
Translate defined business processes, user needs and approved solution designs into configured AI agents and agent-enabled workflows on Zafin AIOS.
Configure agent instructions, prompts, tools, actions, workflow steps, decision logic, templates, structured outputs and reusable components.
Configure appropriate guardrails, permissions, escalation paths, exception handling and human review points based on the risk and complexity of the use case.
Connect agents to approved enterprise tools, APIs, knowledge sources and platform capabilities, partnering with Agent Engineers where custom development or complex integration work is required.
Test agent behaviour using representative scenarios, expected outcomes, edge cases and failure conditions before release.
Work with evaluation specialists and business stakeholders to review output quality, workflow completion, accuracy, reliability and fitness for purpose.
Diagnose configuration and runtime issues, distinguish configuration defects from product or engineering issues, and work with the appropriate teams to resolve root causes.
Support deployments across development, testing and production environments using established release, version-control and change-management practices.
Monitor deployed configurations, review user feedback and performance results, and make targeted improvements to prompts, workflow logic, tools and controls.
Create reusable configuration templates, patterns, playbooks and implementation assets that accelerate future agent delivery across client engagements.
Maintain clear documentation of agent purpose, configuration logic, dependencies, controls, test results, known limitations and operational procedures.
Participate in solution workshops, demonstrations, design reviews, release-readiness reviews and knowledge-transfer sessions with internal teams and client stakeholders.
