About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Advanced Engineer to lead and coordinate cross-functional activities for new product introductions and program execution. The role focuses on ensuring successful project launches, meeting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Program & Project Management Develop, maintain, and track project timelines, milestones, and launch readiness plans. Ensure all project deliverables are completed in line with customer and organizational requirements. Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to protect launch timing and quality. Track open issues and drive closure to meet program objectives. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Finance teams. Ensure alignment across functions for smooth program execution. Support coordination of cost, timing, and quality targets. Customer & Stakeholder Management Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and program status updates. Communicate customer specifications, milestones, and launch expectations effectively. Ensure customer requirements are implemented throughout the program lifecycle. Product & Process Development Support product design reviews to ensure manufacturability and process feasibility. Coordinate process development activities for airbag modules, cushions, inflators, and related components. Lead trial builds, pilot runs, and pre-production activities. Monitor manufacturing performance during launch and implement corrective actions as needed. Quality & APQP Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities. Coordinate PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Work Instructions. Ensure successful completion of PPAP submissions and customer approvals. Ensure compliance with company standards, automotive regulations, and customer requirements. Cost & Continuous Improvement Support cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives. Ensure projects are delivered within approved financial targets. Capture lessons learned from launches and implement best practices. Drive continuous improvement in project execution and manufacturing processes. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). 7 to 10 years of experience in automotive program management, project management, or related engineering roles. Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and manufacturing processes. Experience with cross-functional coordination in a global automotive environment. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with safety-critical products (e.g., airbags) is an advantage. What We Offer Opportunity to work on global automotive safety products.
