Description
Role Overview We are seeking an Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities. This role plays a key part in transaction processing, reconciliations, and monthly close activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Record and post daily financial transactions, including journal entries, vendor invoices, cash receipts, and expense reports Perform daily cash reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and resolve discrepancies Support the monthly close process, including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries Maintain accurate and organized financial records to ensure audit readiness Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to ensure proper expense coding and timing Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports Support audits and provide documentation to external auditors and tax advisors Contribute to process improvements and internal control enhancements Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience for the U.S Market (manufacturing or project-based experience is a plus) Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations) High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Nice to Have Experience with job costing or project accounting Exposure to multi-entity or multi-state environments Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting concepts Interest in growing into a senior accounting or financial analyst role Benefits Work for the most exciting companies in the North American Market.
