We are now in search of an Accountant to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar ! What you’ll be doing:  Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and compliance; Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow analyses; Support audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards; Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis on variances and recommendations for improvement; Develop and implement internal control policies, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations; Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting efficiency; Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations and fiscal compliance. What you’ll bring to the table:  3+ years of experience; Fluent in English and Portuguese; Demonstrated experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in an international environment; Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to expedite their implementation from financial perspective (preferably Odoo but not mandatory); Effective communications skills to collaborate with senior team members and present financial insights; A proactive and solution-oriented approach to address challenges and optimize financial operations; Understanding of international tax regulations, IFRS and local GAAP. It would be great if you would also have: Odoo ERP knowledge; Excel skills. Why join us?
