As a Receiving Lead at Misfits Market, you will be responsible for supporting a diverse and talented warehouse team through your strong communication and organization skills.  The Receiving Lead reports to the Senior Warehouse Manager and plays a crucial role in the on-time delivery of our customers’ orders. Your primary responsibility will be to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) equipment to unload and inspect all inbound trailers using safe operating procedures and accurately move products to their correct location based on temperature and warehouse storage requirements. You will support the Sr. Warehouse Manager by organizing team members to maintain an optimal workflow throughout the day. Your position may also include coaching and training new team members. This includes, but is not limited to the safe handling and storage of food and the safe operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). As a leader, oversees the daily tasks of all team members and takes ownership of the safe completion of each function within the Receiving department. Provides coaching to team members to achieve optimal workflow. Liaises between all warehouse departments to coordinate the efficient flow of products from the receiving area to the designated storage locations. Communicates effectively with team members and leadership to ensure a smooth transition of goods. Safely and efficiently operates various types of PIT equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to unload palletized goods from incoming trailers. Promptly escalates any safety concerns to the supervisor. Conducts thorough inspections of received products to verify quantity, quality,
