Description
Site Superintendent – Penticton, BC (Restaurant Project) At Novacom Building Partners , we’re more than a general contractor — we’re a team redefining what construction can be. Based in Surrey, BC , we deliver innovative, people-focused commercial projects across financial institutions, restaurants, offices, and retail spaces . Our culture is built on relationships, integrity, and a shared passion for continuous improvement — and we’re looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to lead a new restaurant build in Penticton. We are seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee a new ground-up restaurant project in Penticton, BC from start to finish. You will be the on-site leader responsible for coordinating trades, solving problems in real time, and delivering a high-quality project on time and on budget. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a stand-alone, fast-paced build in the Okanagan with full support from our Surrey-based PM team — and a great chance to make a real impact in the built environment. Location: Penticton, BC (on-site) Project Value: Approximately $3.5M Project Type: New ground-up restaurant – base building Duration: Approximately 5 months (July 2026 – November 2026), with strong potential for additional TI and base building work to follow Schedule: Primarily Monday – Friday, day shift, on-site in Penticton. Weekend work may be required to hit project milestones. Start Date: Immediate or within 1–2 weeks (preferred) Requirements What You’ll Do Lead Site Execution: Oversee daily construction site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate Trades & Suppliers: Build strong relationships, resolve challenges quickly, and keep all work progressing efficiently. Collaborate With Project Management: Work closely with the PM team to align site execution with schedule, budget, and client expectations. Manage Client Communication: Act as the on-site representative in meetings with architects, consultants, and clients. Track Documentation: Use Procore, Outbuild and other tools to manage field reports, schedules, change orders, cost tracking, and more. Monitor Budgets: Identify efficiencies, control costs, and provide regular financial updates to leadership. Who You Are A self-starter who thrives on taking ownership and driving projects forward. A clear communicator who builds trust with clients, trades, and teammates. A hands-on problem solver who remains calm under pressure and loves seeing plans come to life. A meticulous organizer who ensures sites are safe, efficient, and well-run. Out-of-Town Project Support Open to candidates based in the Lower Mainland willing to work on-site in the Okanagan, or candidates already in the Penticton / Okanagan region. We know being away from home matters, so we make it easy: Accommodation: Fully covered by Novacom while you’re on-site away from home. Living Out Allowance (LOA): $75 per day. Schedule: Primarily Monday – Friday on-site. Some weekend work may be required as project milestones demand — this applies to all candidates, whether local to the Okanagan or based out of town. Return Trips Home (Out-of-Town Candidates): For candidates based in the Lower Mainland or further afield, Novacom coordinates regular return trips home in line with the project schedule. We work hard to get you home as often as the work allows, with frequency planned around project demands rather than guaranteed every weekend. Future Work: Strong pipeline of Okanagan and BC bench TI / base building projects — we’re investing in long-term roles. Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally as a Site Superintendent. Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.
